Hello!
We have been super busy these last couple of weeks and a lot has happened. We are continuing our fundraising drive and have received continued support from our community, family and friends. We have decided to put on at least one benefit event in the Halifax area. The details aren't all ironed out yet, but definitely check back in the very near future to see what is in store.
Along with that, some of us have been in the media lately. Myself (Katie), Mike P, and Summer were on two radio shows at CKDU, the Dalhousie radio station, and I made an appearance on 920 CHCH the Hotline with Rick Howe.
And last but not least, Wednesday morning our media spokesperson, Mike P, was on Breakfaast Television. You can check out video of that segment on our facebook group.
Like I said, an event is in the works - an art auction to be more specific. If you are an artist, we are looking for donations of artwork and would love for your work to be a part of the event.
